Welcome to Garage208!
Here at Garage208, we want to be your goto source for anything car related in Idaho.
One thing we want to make clear is that we are not trying to replace any of the forums you are on, we are just an alternative site you can go to. Feel free to keep any of the forums you are currently on.
Why Garage208?
We want this community to grow and help each other. That’s why we want to encourage helpful members by contributing positive responses in threads that are more serious, but still allow you to be silly on the other forums to bond with the members. We have included a Tech Writeup section in the hopes of member sharing with each other how you might be able to fix/repair/do-it-yourself to the other members. As moderators, we will try to provide consistent moderation over the forum to help users and the community grow.
What can Garage208 do for me?
It allows you to meet people in the surrounding Idaho area, make friends, and even network with the local car scene. Vendors will be allowed their own section where they might post up products for sale and services they offer. Members will be given a section for feedback to show other members that they are either helpful, or even if they are scammers.
What can I do to help Garage208?
We have included a site feedback section to see what our users think needs to be added. We will listen and voice our opinions, or even try to implement your suggestion.
Remember... its not just our site... its everyones site. Members are what make the site fun and worth coming back for.
What current features are on Garage208?
Currently some of the features include:
Advanced shoutbox capable of PM’s, detachable, search, and many more
Large PM box for all
Custom avatars supporting 160x130, animations, and larger file size (although we recommend hosting it on another file hosting to help keep the speed up on the site)
Custom user tags
Car profiles (located in the “Garage” link. To add your car go to Garage and click on "My Garage")
NSFW section (feel free to post anything not suitable for work, as long as it isn’t illegal content such as underage, gore, or anything offensive)
Steam ID's, Xbox360 gamertags, and Myspace.com links on profiles (to configure, go to User CP and click on Edit Profile)
Video Player Embeded, just paste the link to a youtube (and others) video in a post and it will post the embed versionIf you have any other questions, feel free to PM an admin!
