So know that I have coilovers I need to roll the fenders in the rear so I can tuck the tires, problem is I don't have a f-ing clue about fender rolling. Do you have to repaint after rolling? Is it an easy job? Pain in the ass? Any info would be great. Help a brother out. haha:dunno:

omg its drunk scott.

its pretty easy, and if you take your time and use a heat gun, you wont ruin the paint.

That makes sense, now I just need to find someone with a fender roller and some free time.

X2 a baseball bat stuffed between the fender and tire while someone slowly drives forward and back, works pretty well

No matter what you do, absolutely positively DO NOT let Edwin and Brendan (bcool) help you with this! They did quite a number on Edwin's fenders! Hahahaha!

use the fender roller if you want that inner lip really flat and even. i wouldnt use a bat on it cuz it doesnt do it gradually like the roller does. i know how to do it and so do a few others on here. the wheel on the roller might not even come close to making contact to the fender depending on how low the car is

does anyone around here have any experience pulling fenders? A good roll and pull might be in my near future ;)

Cale (calebot) has a fender roller that he rents out. Ive used it, and it flexs the car soooo much its kinda scary. Im more comfortable with a ballbat, but then again, I dont have paint I need to worry about.

Correction, do not roll aluminum fenders. Otherwise mine turned out great. Minus the side with bondo.

Also, take your time with the heat gun. You will blister the paint if you leave it on one spot for too long. Do more quick passes then leaving it in one spot for a while.

First side I did turned out great.

The other side...finding out the the fender had bondo on it...awesome.

I actually might be looking to do mine soon too. Let me know what you figure out Matt. I haven't seen very good fit and finish around these parts, so I'm kind of worried about having to do this.

^^^I don't really have a plan on when, pretty much whenever someone who wants to help who knows what they are doing I'm down. I don't wanna mess up my fenders.
