Well the car never receive much attention and has a 1000000 missmatched parts on it but I am hoping that by the end of the summer I will have it finished...

Swapped this bad boy on... for the stock one.. (stock is in the back)

Next I swapped the bumper and sanded/cleaned and then tinted the headlights lightly and blacked out the grill...

This is how the car sits today and it's waiting out side for it's coilovers to show up... They were supposed to be here this week but I ordered custom springs rates and instead of 350lb in the front and 300lb in the rear I got 550lb all the way around...
The car is in the bad need of a drop but it's getting one and camber plates sometimes during spring break.

Just removed and refinished the lip on the trunk and it was painted a few hours ago again...


I removed and sanded and painted the front bumper also and it will match the car by tomorrow night...

ehhh... not sure about nitrous in my stock block... it will blow and I already have 160k on the odometer... but if you have suggestions on what to get done next with the motor they are more then welcome... I still have a bit to go till I pay it off, but I will try to get some extra money and pay it off by the end of the summer.

nitrous is perfectly safe if done correctly. you have a 2.5 or 2.8? cant tell by the pics. either way you would be perfectly safe running a 50 shot. i would be a little leary running a 75 or more without pulling some timing, getting some colder plugs and adding some fuel supporting mods. but your stock block is pretty stout. honestly. 160k miles is nothing. my black car has well over 200k, and my tan car has over 250k. i would suggest a turbo, but thats a big investment in parts. m50's in a e36 are a whore to plumb for turbo. and the same precautions (fuel & timing adjustments) are necessary for that also.

there really arn't any easy big power mods for your car. you could make/buy a CIA and get 3-4 more hp.. you already have the m3 catback but those dont really make more power. just makes it a little louder. probably stuff you already know.

but dont be afraid of nitrous. hollywood has done allot to make it look dangerous (witch it is not) ...idiots have proven that it can kill motors. however, if done correctly, its cheap, reliable and effective. the ONLY downside is it has to be refilled. dont be an idiot about it and you'll be fine.

Mirko. I will help with the refinishing. We will pull them shits apart, polish the lips, and paint the centers a rad color.

And I would go 215's front and 235 or 245 rear. You will also be able to use these for autocross if you don't run spacers, which should help you out quite a bit over what you were running last weekend.

Updates... I am building a system for my iPhone GPS and with spastik's help I am building a charger that works and some proper audio connections for music control...


I cut the frame around the tray and after fitting everything I mounted it with some recycled cloth material for the neat look and feal... then I cut the holes for the chords and now I am waiting for parts from china to build a charger with some sweet LED's on it and other cool stuff...

Here is the mount that goes in the middle of my center console... it all fits like a glove, now just waiting for the glue to dry to start mounting in the car...

And with all the cf stuff... I am doing some small higlights and pretty much just recovering some old/torn parts instead of getting a ton of expensive parts... I will post pics after I finish it and it iwll be dope. I will be doing my roof liner soon and that should look sweet :) (not carbon fiber but either suede or plaid)

Hey mirko, you know you have to use resin and bake those parts so they'll have any strength or integrity... Right?

You know real carbon fiber without the resin is actually really weak and will tear/fray to no end with very little effort... Right?

I was going to try to turbo the car, but I HAVE to go to europe next summer to visit family after 6 years, so there goes the 2k that I was going to save up for a turbo setup...

Please dont buy a ebay turbo ha, those manifolds suck along with all the rest of the parts, just save up an do it right the first time. Im doing a turbo kit right now on my buddies M (AA manifold, SC61, 42lbs injectors, ect) along with a new headgasket so if you need some help let me know.

Well his setup is an exception but you could probably spend 4k-5k and get a nice setup barley used. Remember that a good tune is gonna cost about 1k alone. AA manifolds are good manifolds along with an SPA manifolds, i think most of the ebay ones come with a SS Chrome manifold? anyways let me know and we can piece a good one together. The Headgasket is kinda pain in the ass but none the less it would probably be a good idea to change yours. You have about 160k miles????

The Valve cover gasket should be easy to take off. Let me know if you need help. The Head Gasket is a different story you have to remove the intake manifold and literally everything.

In our defense that sort of thing has been happening since the creation of ISR. Now that there are 2 websites there has been a definitive line drawn. Sad to see really. You wanted to move IMS forward for sponsorship and a broader outreach for other car clubs and car owners. We just wanted the good ol' shit talking/poking fun days of ISR back and now we're here, heh. I'm sure i've said some unsavory things about IMS in passing, but to tell the truth most of the shit talking i hear is just based off speculation and false notions (It's all just fuel in the fire). I took it out and I blew up parts (control arm, snapped sway bar etc.) and the car was done for good until repaired. I always want to come out but my car being my DD and my limited income doesn't let me be there all the time. I drove in Hailey, ID and drove justine's 350Z to Sun Valley in snow and ice with no tires because I had a chance to race.


And once again. Pugh wants this to stop, but he MAKES AN ACCOUNT on a forum he is NEVER ON, calls me a retard, and a piece of shit who doesn't know how to drive my "POS 325" (as stated by DJ) and wtf am I supposed to do? The car was in the garage for a while now because I was ordering parts and getting a new setup for the car. yep, IMS has not changed since it was ISR. excep when it was isr, it was fun. now everything is serious and you have to make your car be like mike's and drive what is popular. reminds me of high school, drugs, cliques, and then the rest of us who are in our own group watching and waiting to see it all crumble.

and, there is nothing wrong with being in your 30's youngsters. jobless, yes, family and jobless, even worse, smacktalking to everyone knowing they will never see or say these things to that person face to face, family, and jobless, pathetic.

this site does not have much action, but it also has less drama, unless someone comes over from IMS stirring the pot. you can post pictures of cars, or whatever and not worry about being bashed, almost like we are ALL friends here. well, you do have to look out for David being a smartass, or brenden grabbing your ass, but that is to be expected, i guess.
