Ok some of you are aware of the trend in Japan to obtain the USDM Style for their vehicles. Here is a VERY interesting thread (full of pics too) with a guy in Japan who runs a shop that imports US parts and vehicles to Japan. Definitely worth the read. http://nwp4life.zeroforum.com/zerothread?id=13013&page=1 He even talks about how he has a Del Taco cup in his car because it is an item you might find in the US and makes him feel more USDM. Also In-N-Out bags/wrappers are sought out by some of his customers. Those examples are more extreme but it's interesting to see the parts he, and his customers, want/buy for their cars. His comments in the thread show a first hand perspective of how similar desires to obtain rare parts are shared between us.
Also check out www.usdmjam.com It is Japans biggest USDM car show. The event is attended by his shop and customers every year.

haha, wow...
someone needs to start a website, USDM/JDM trader or something, where we can all go on and trade each other factory parts/accessories and whatnot, and just make it easier!

Oh man, i was laughing through most of that thread! So crazy to see people with CTR's trying to downgrade to DX, or his wifes fully loaded mini-van being downgraded to base model interior etc.... Man, its so weird that our scenes are like mirrored images...

Lol, Love the "compton style" hatch. Too funny.
Theres some oldschool love. And I know Ill catch hell, but I miss the all clear tails. Was cool to see some pictured. I love the USDM Pepsi can too, I just picked up a JDM bottle of water that came over with a Premira title taped to it from Tim. Nifty little score :D
There was another thread with some pix of oldschool EF's (from the wagon forum) http://www.hondacivicwagon.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5044
And what wheels are these? I really like them:

the wheels are from a company called winds auto they are the barrel.
but they are a knockoff of a usdm wheel called fanmags or turbo fins you cn find them on sweet a-team vans and in junkyeards or on some old datsuns also.

^^^Nice, thanks for the info. I had a set of those on my old chevy. They were 13x7's and called Western Cyclones. I guess I have never seen fwd offsets in that wheel before, but after you posted that pic, I guess I can kinda see them being similar.
Got any links? All that comes up when I type in Winds Wheels even with the word barrel is a bunch of shit about wind socks and wind wheels (the cheezy little windmill yard art).
BTW, I sent you a pm :D
