Thats a big ass project.

I thought so at first... but isn't anything...I just picked up a doner car so I have everything to go into my shell...so hopefully should be good to go here in a couple weeks....

the color is just the factory 240sx grey color for that year... but it is freshly painted...

right now I am just going with a KA just to get it on the road eventually prob go with an SR later down the road.... only time will tell...

no it's something diff... but I talked to the guy who painted the car and he told be that was the color....

hopefully I will have the engine bay cleaned up this week and about ready for the new motor

it'a more of a money issue now.... the motor needs to have some seals and stuff replaced... so I am working on it...

get someone to buy all my extra parts and I should be good...

and thanks I am slowly working on it... the cold weather doesn't help...

couple more update... the BAY is about completly stripped... and my rusted corner is cut out...

just need to finish sanding the bay and then i can start priming the bay...

will have some pics up later this week hopefully have the bay done this week... thats my goal...

Are those rota P45's? I dig the staggered fitment. Looks uber hot. Drove a 240 with an rb20 the other night and it was sick. They sound so gnarly compared to the SR. They are not as loud and made a lot of power on a little T25 turbo. Loved it and someday may want to be an S13 coupe owner.

rb's are cool. if they came with a little bit bigger turbo it would be more awesome, a t25 on an rb is like trying to slurp down a big gulp using a stir straw. pEHH

Yeah, a little bigger turbo would be sweet. Even just a T28 would be pretty awesome. I liked how quick it spooled and how smooth it drove. You could pwn people and they would never see it coming because the car is so quiet and smooth. My Honda is a little more obvious because i have to have big exhaust and an engine that sounds like an explosion is about to happen, to make power.

actually youre wrong. sportmax came out with those wheels long before rota came out with the p45. the p45 is a knockoff of the nismo lmgt4. 962 is just a 962 because neither of the lmgt4 or p45 have any sort of decent lip on them. zing.

My point was they are both knockoffs of some JDM wheel and that I wasn't a tard for assuming they could be a rota P45 because they look basically the same as the 962. Both are sweet wheels. The rear P45's and 962's have a bit of a lip. Not uber JDM lip, but a lip nonetheless. I dig the staggered look with the separate front and rear sizes. As far as the history of which came out first, I will have to take your word for it. I don't generally study the birth dates of wheels. Thanks for the JDMducation.

just a little update....Sorry no pics as alot of things aren't complete....

Stiff installed in car today...

Rear diff
megan coilovers..

current issues working on....

Going through complete wire harness and removing all unnecessary wires also found some bad wiring so had to pull the chassis harness out of the red car and put it in the grey car... so this has been taken lots of times...

hopefully I will be able to add some more pics over the next couple days when start to finish up parts of the project....

the car actually moved under its own power today......the timing was off a little so this was fixed...car still has no exhaust but should be here on Thursday and hopefully on the road this weekend so keep a look out for it....

well I took the car out for the first time on Friday... some of you might have seen it at the meet... no hood FTL... but didn't want to button her up until i knew everything was good to go.....

still have some more house keeping things to take care of but the car is about 90% done.....

got the hood on and hood pins installed..... thanks Brian (jdmitr) for the install... turned out awesome....

super low... it takes me a good 2-3 mins to get it out of the garage and I had to put a board down in the gutter so not to hit the front bumper

I'm not sure what it is that makes this look so cool, I think it's because it's properly lowered, needs a spoiler though. You know, if you wanted to throw money on top I would consider a trade.

There is nothing about this car that I find cool! Just playin' dude that car is very nice, the color choice is excellent and i'm diggin the single cam.

Is the motor stock or have you gone through it, I do see you have a header and Intake what else?

motor was completely stock.. i did pull the butterflies out of the intake manifold and delete all the EGR stuff..

but with EBAY header and exhaust and intake car made 125wh and 135torque.. not bad for a SOHC with over 100K miles...

I was at a drift day in Portland an a guy was running 3" exhaust wit a simialar setup and he had no loss of low end with that size of pipe. It was loud as hell though
