So I have had this car for many years now, I bought it pretty much stock in 2004. None of the doors worked properly when I bought it, radio harness was trashed, clutch fluid leaking everywhere, but I fixed the clutch slave, new door handle on drivers door that will open and lock just like it should, fixed passenger and drivers side windows, and figured out why passenger door won't work properly. It has 120,xxx miles on the chassis if I remember correctly.
I blew a coolant seal in it about 5 years ago and rebuilt it. Car hasn't been running since. Before the coolant seal blew, the car ran very well. Kept it at stock boost. I raced it at Firebird many times and stock I ran a 14.4 if that interests you.
I rebuilt the motor and gave it a street port. Motor was sand blasted and painted Anodized Purple and Flat Black. No fluids have been in it since then and it hasn't been started. Brand new 2 piece seals were used from Atkins Rotary. The port job was done by Tyler from Atkins rotary, (some of you rotary guys may remember him). While the motor was getting rebuilt I purchased a vast amount of suspension and other parts. Installed some of them, but none have never seen fluids. The ones not installed are sitting in the car. I removed all emissions as well.
Car currently sits inside my enclosed trailer at the moment. I am selling it cause I would like for it to run someday. I joined the military back in 07 and haven't had time to work on it due to deployments and such. So this is what you get.
A engine that is rebuilt and ported (list price is 3k for one from Atkins Rotary w/o a port job), Brand new parts that were either installed or not (roughly 3.5k in new parts), chassis with not many miles, and it is pretty much all together. You would need to get rear brake lines for the engine bay ran to brake master cylinder, from a non abs rx7. hook up wire harness, install fuel pump, drivetrain, put fluid in, start car, and tune it. Also sits on stock saw blade wheels, the rx8 wheels above are not on the car anymore.

Yes the car has some work before it gets up and running, but if you wanted to bank off it just part it out. I don't have the time or resources right now to do that or I would.

-Front bumper lip is cut off.
-Passenger fender has little dents at top.
-Passenger door doesn't open due to missing lock spring (you can fix that without the spring so it opens all you want, but if you try and lock it, it stays locked till you pull the lever inside the door.)
-Driver side, side skirt has dent towards the front.
-Interior carpet was ripped out due to clutch fluid damaging it.

Yes, I am currently Active Duty in the Army. I am stationed in Kansas, and the car is back home in Boise. Before I joined I was in the midst of completing it, but stuff came up and I thought I would just put it on hold till I had time and money to do it right. I left it where I was to get back to it. Since then I have gotten married, had a child, and accrued more expenses. Selling the car is sad for me, but best logical thing right now. I have an Rx8 that is a better platform for a race car that is newer, and has 4 seats.
I really want to see the car running and put on a track where I intended it for.
