Description:
For sale is my black GTI. It has been a great car for beating around town with the past year, but I need to condense down to one car.
The Good:
-Runs good, parts are cheap for it
-Gets about 28mpg around town
-32mpg if i dont sit at traffic lights
-Warms up really fast inside so you arent cold in the winter
-Already had a bunch of parts replaced on it (brake booster, master cylinder, both front wheel bearings, passenger axle, spark plugs, wires, a couple hoses and seals, valve cover gasket, new muffler, secondary fuel pump seal and filter)
-The 8v motors are like tanks (i got it when it was running on 3 cylinders, mistimed, vacuum leaks, and it still drove around)
The Bad:
-Paint isnt the best
-Needs a new drivers axle and motor mounts, but drives as is
-Headliner is trashed
-First gear is sometimes hard to get into (because of the bad motor mounts)
-Radiator is held in with zipties (mk1 rabbit radiators work, but they dont use the same mounts)
-Reverse lights dont work (they are for pussies anyways)
Comes with a whole box of extra parts, 2 extra wheels and tires, another set of doorcards for front and back.
