i got a ARC intake. Took about 2 months to get it complete. Bought used. figured $800.00 was kinda steep for a new one. Started to wetsand it down and polish it. Not 100% done as you can see from the pics. here is a tease.

WOW.. spendy.. but.. I wanted enough to be able to fully repaint the car if something was to happen to it.



I got 1 gallon of Glasurit Metallic Silver
2 gallons of Glasurit Metallic Pasha

If anyone knows how much Glasurit Metallic Paint costs, they have a idea how much i just spent on 3 gallons of paint.

the car will be painted 2-3 times (inside and out) with the silver.

Then it will be painted multiple times with the Pasha.

lol i know ur pain on that i just painted my htb hatch and i did the same i bought factory honda MICA and had it mixed with a certain color of black that i liked and it wasnt cheap.....just sucks cuase i did it right beforew it snowed so now it sits in the garage with my other 2 garage queens lol

I sprayed in some Slick Sand (spray able bondo/primer.)


NOTE:
The seems look real nasty in the photos. I put tape over them so i wont shoot anything in the seems. So.. please dont think its all nasty like that :)


It gives me a idea of whats low/high.

That grenade is tha BOMB. pfft! Never take it off. I have a set of brass knuckles for my t-case knob on my Chebby. Personalization is the coolest. It makes your car different from others.

so i had all the bronze glass but the windshield.
Problem was.. to get my hands on a flawless front windshield i was looking at almost 1,000$ shipped.

SO.. Richard at gspeedcorp hooked me up.

I do all the decals for his shop/store.
They give me smokin' deals.

I pulled the parts i wanted and sold the shell today for $800
All i took was the Factory Keyless entry and Bronze windshield.

Hey guys.

So... Over the past year I have been searching for Anniversary edition interior that was not beat up.

My hunt ended about 3 months ago when clubeg6 member (EDC) "aka" Ed, located a private seller in the Philippines who had Limited Edition Flawless Interior. He offered to rush over and pre-pay for this out of his own pocket, giving me the benefit of the doubt i would cover his cost.

So ED then began the 1 month search for a affordable shipping company. DHL requested over $1,200 shipping... A few other companies where much more then that. We finally found a place that would deliver the package within 3 hours of my home for under $1,000

Downfall, this would take 35+ days to get here. And it was traveling by SEA.

Long story short. Today was the day i made the 3 hour drive up to Portland to Try to Clear customs. They checked the package made sure no Drugs or illegal dvds where in the box.

And i got the RED stamp of approval to go pick up my package.

Grabbed it. Drove 3 hours home. My friend marcos (owner of the truck) on the way home decided to pass a driver who was in the lane who was possibly drunk. Turned out... he was masturbating while driving. (i can not vouch, i did not see this) However Marcos needed to pull over and get some water. He was very disturbed and disgusted about what he had just seen.

On RHD shells there are threaded holes to screw down the seats. (i didnt know about this) so i asked about and people said "you got to just weld the rear seats in place)

I was like F that.

So... I came up with a idea.. Thought id share.

Take some large bolts (oem honda) with large washers on them.

Cut the holes where they need to be in your floor boards. (big enough for the head of the bolt to sit down, but small enough so the washer can be welded to the floor board)

So.. now.. if we just welded in the bolt, by welding in the washer, the bolt would just spin.

So we need to weld the HEAD of the bolt to the washer so it will not spin in the hole.

Now place them in the hole and weld the washer down to the floor board. (Not welding the threads)

You should end up with something like this.

Much more practical rather then welding down the seats permanently.

Not everything is 100% tighten down. i did not want to risk breaking any plastic clips.

^ i tried to keep the interior clean as possible. But.. with a bodyshop bondo dust is EVERYWHERE. So please ignore the dirty plastics. I assure you.. they are much cleaner in person.

Eh, total investment in the shift nob is $50 + 4 hours of time.
what is one worth to you? :) i guess i could order the stuff to make
another one. They are real deactivated grenades. Its hard to find people
that are willing to put these in a box and ship them :)
