it's a fail because it's just like the one before it, which is much like the one before that, which very closely resembles the one before that, which by odd coincidence got it's design cues from the one before that.

might as well buy one from the 90's. people who don't know shit about cars will think they're the same thing, just a different trim level.

Love Porsche's have since I was a kid, hell I even owned a few and still do. But it's time for something new! Car magazines and sports car officianado's have been saying it for years... It's not the performance, that is bang on.... Time for a restyle.

There's nothing wrong with the 911 design. It was an absolute hit, and helped the car industry in design terms a lot. But... it's how old now? Porsche has stretched their design dollars more than should ever be allowed. Do people who have a 911 wind up buying the next updated style 911? Probably not, for reasons mentioned above.
