Name: Sylas Wayne Gissendaner
• Age: 19
• Favorite Restaurant: Depends on my mood, i've gotten a bad habit of eating out since I moved here but, any Italian restaurant is somewhere I'd like to be at all times.
• Fave Music: You can catch me listening to anything from Papa Roach and Limp Bizkit to Bob Marley and Waylon Jennings, I listen to all genres of music.
• Something Most people don’t know: I'm really shy around new people, unless they bring up something car related.
• Turn Ons: 240's, drifting, boobs, Old ugly Japanese 14" wheels, smell of tire smoke and raw fuel.
• What got you into the car scene: It's just been in my family, I grew up listening to stories about my grandpa and dad drag racing back in the day when nobody cared and it was a neighborhood event. Both of them were mechanics their whole life starting in high school and they still are to this day. Plus something about building this machine to do what I want it to do, and do it better than others, just makes me want to do it for life.
• About Me: Born and raised in Yuma, Arizona. Which consistently has hotter temperatures than death valley. Living 10 minutes from Mexico was a rad experience, especially crossing the border every holiday to go off roading down the coast. Went to a private school for a couple years and then tried public school until my senior year when I got fed up with it and dropped out a couple months before graduation. Went and took my GED test and passed it with higher scores than the seniors that actually graduated that year. Worked under the counter at a sand rail and quad repair shop for a couple weeks before I decided to move up to Idaho with a good friend that I met earlier last year. Now I have my first legit job and am really wanting to take this drifting thing as far as I can since I keep impressing myself in how fast I've adapted to it.

• Story About the Car: Right after I got my license the beginning of my junior year, I got an 89 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 High output for my birthday. Then later that year I bought a 79 Wagoneer. Offroading was fun, but I noticed that all the cool kids were going to the drag races on the weekends instead. So I bought a 91 Eclipse GST for $280 on a friday, turned the boost up to 14psi, blew it up that weekend, and sold it for $280 a couple weeks later. Ended up selling all my vehicles and buying a 97 Honda Prelude Type S with a JDM H22A swapped in it for $6,200. Did a couple boltons to that and ended up blowing up the oil pump from a missed shift during a race. This was just after I met some guys that had a GTS corolla and a Mazda Miata. First time one of those guys took me out drifting I was hooked. Sold the blown Prelude for $4,500 and bought an 89 240sx SE for $1,000 with a blown motor and spent the rest for the motor swap.
Performance:
• Car made 207hp and 197tq when it was on stock boost. Is around 230hp now.
• SR20det RedTop swap.
• TopSpeed log style Intake Manifold.
• CXRacing FMIC, piping, and bov.
• CXRacing aluminum radiator with Mishimoto cap and Nismo thermostat.
• Stock Garrett t25 turbo turned up to 12psi.
• ACT 6 puck sprung clutch with Xtreme pressure plate.
• PoweredByMax water temp adapter and magnetic drain plug.
• ISIS stainless braided clutch line.
• Custom one piece 3" straight pipe from the turbo back.
• Still need to install - Greddy baffled oil pan and Tomei rocker arm stoppers.
Interior:
• Fully gutted interior, sound deadening and all panels, only thing that is left is the dash, center console, and drivers/passengers seat.
• SunPro boost gauge and water temp gauge.
• AEM Uego wideband.
Exterior:
• OEM mismatched panels with hazard tape.
Wheels/Suspension:
Due to unforseen events, I am not able to run my own wheels at this time. So I'm borrowing the wheels that are on right now.
• 15x8 +0 offset Sportmax/XXR 002's
• Ebay slipover coils with cut lowering springs "3 coils".
• Blown struts
• PoweredByMax tension rod spacers! Best mod i've done to the car so far! Got them for free straight from PBM too. More angle is so fun.
Coming Soon:
• Coilovers
• Wheels "trying to get some dope centerlines at this moment"
• Sun Roof delete
• Install my bucket seat
• S4 cams
• t28 on more boost, looking to make around 300hp... for now.
• More Sideways.

Special note from Mr. Sylas.
Thanks to my buddy Lee for letting me live with him rent free for seven months. David for letting me move in with him soon and taking care of me when my car needed to be towed off a mountain. All the guys that were at that party at Scotts place when I moved here, really was a warm welcome. Everyone else on Garage208 for being such cool and unique people. Love you guys.
