June 19th will be a great combo day for racing in Boise.

Morning/early Afternoon: Our first SRRSCCA rallycross event will be happening in Pleasant Valley, on site at the motocross track. Think autocross, but on a big dirt lot. Should be great fun, lots of sliding around playing in the dirt action.

Afternoon/Evening: Another night autocross, or NocturnoCross, at the Fairgrounds in Garden City. Racing from ~4pm till around Midnight, under the lights.

Should be a great day of racing! I'll be rallycrossing in the morning in my FB rx7, and autocrossing in the evening in the Miata.

Newb question, to pass tech do i need to remove my subs in the trunk? They just have velcro strips on the bottom holding them down.

i'm just gonna say yes, you need to remove the subs unless they are bolted to the chassis. i would want them out of there anyway if i were you, too much weight.

ya they need to be bolted down, plus noooo way youd want that in there if your autoxing, slie all the fuk over

i had a super awesome badass time!! my suspension needs work before the next one (like a complete overhaul lol) i really didnt know what to expect coming into the event...i brought extra struts to give me a 2" lift if needed, and even after Shea and i switched the struts at the event, it still wasnt enough to keep the car from bottoming out. so now i know what i need suspension wise.

It was an absolute blast...i suggest everyone come out and give the next one a try!! i havent laughed soooo much in a long time! its hands down the most fun ive had in a car in a very very long while ;)

Ha, i believe he was in a crv that was bouncing like crazy at the end of the coarse. It was a great time and i cant wait till the next one. Since it was my first time out i wasnt competitive at all but i had a great time and my times consistently improved... till they added water which made it a slip and slide, slow times but i had the most fun then!

^^^What are you driving these days?

98 crv. and yea, blown struts + soft spring rates + large dirt ruts/jumps = mucho bounce lol. i think they learned a few things about the course itself this time and the next event will be geared more towards cars than off road vehicles. next event is july 3rd....im on vacation that week, so if i get some better suspension before then, ill be ready. if not, ill have to wait for the next event.

Glad I was out of state... hahha. Otherwise I would have gone through like 3 oilpans in that day...

ha, there was a Charger running, But like turbo2cam said i think they learned a lot this time and next time the course wont be as rough.

He actually tore out all the underbody plastic and later popped the bead on a tire.

haha, for your lowered car, it woulda been more than an oilpan, you would've just gotten stuck/high centered! the bumps were BIG!

i had such a blast, my cheeks were hurting from smiling/laughing so much. it was like motocrossing a car.
