Just wrapping up my Civic project

96 Civic EX w/ built D16Y8 (Y7 block, Y8 everything else) props to Ren for the build

Probably not gonna drop it much more at all because I will be autox-ing it and it will rub in the front fender wells bad if I drop it. I already pwned a front tire last year from hard cornering with it at the height it is at. I will likely get k-sport coils and try to go a little lower if possible. So far it has been a fun car. I still need to get the tune right and a few other upgrades and it should be pretty gnarly. After that comes the interior upgrades.

240's have plenty of room even dumped, unless you have uber wide tires. you have to go to like an 8 inch wide to take up all the room in a 240 fender well. It is plentiful. In a civic you push it at 6.5. I had 7's last year lowered just about till it tucked and it pwned my tires every time I did a corner hard. I lost chunks of tire and it made them vibrate and bounce at about 60 mph. That sucks all the way to Salt Lake. I am gonna try once I get coilovers and see what I can pull off. Those pics were right after installing my new struts and springs so it has settled quite a bit. Having all the turbo shiz up front lowered it more too. It looks better but might be able to go a little lower.

I'll kill you Simon, for less than $10. Booyah! Thanks for the help getting that bumper up here the other day. I put in on last night. Fogs don't fit, but I have an idea that involves lots of leds and some cutting that may just bring them back. I will tell you about it later. It would be a gnarly fun project.

Jason, you my friend are one of the reasons I can actually drive this thing. I still owe you some money for that ecu and you owe me that pipe. I already fixed my piping stuff so you wanna just work something out as far as a trade between the two items? Let me know.

definitely not. I am getting a new oil return line this week hopefully so I can quit burning oil like mad out the exhaust from the turbo. I am not sure why the oil pan was tapped with a return the size of a pencil, but that doesn't work so well with an unrestricted feed. Even with the big return I may still have to restrict the feed. It also needs tuned again still. It runs uber rich and is weaksos until boost. We are thinking the timing is still off, but haven't had much time to have Anthony look at it. and the roads have sucked. I heard IF has dry ones now so I need to get down there before it snows again to have him check the tuning a bit. Last thing is that I still have the bad tranny. I am pretty sure it is just synchros in 2nd that are pwned. Can't do much for mashing it when you grind pulling out of first then again when going into 2nd. I just need some cash to get a new tranny. I had one lined up, but haven't had any luck getting it yet. I am waiting on the kid to do him motor swap so Ren and I can get the old motor and I will pull the tranny and he will take the rest.
