Like I said on the BPA forum, I really like this set. I think some of your lighting could use a little work, but very cool set. I really like that you got the Bus into the fire station.

No joke. All the reflective tape on the firetrucks was a bitch for on camera lighting. I didn't bring any good lighting because I didn't know we were going to be doing the firehouse thing. It was impromptu and I wasn't prepared. Live and learn.

Nice set James! The fire station is a perfect set up for that car. Dustin's bus has come along really well over the last year or so, which gives me hope for Josh's '65...

No, it was funny, we were a few blocks away taking some pictures in front of the railroad museum when we heard the sirens go off. We both thought we should go over there and see if we could get some pictures in front of the fire station while they had the overhead doors open. When we got there, the doors were closed already. Duston (the bus owner) knocked on the door and a paramedic answered. The paramedic was a VW guy too (1966 bug) and was very enthusiastic about letting us take some pictures. He opened the door so we could back the bus in, then opened the ladder truck door. After some more talking he agreed to pull the ladder truck out for more pictures. By that time the first engine that had been deployed on the call out returned and we got pictures with all three. All the firefighters were totally cool about it. They just asked for some prints to hang in the firehouse in return for the favor.
