Anybody know where I can send a turbo to be rebuilt and rebalanced? Or really just where I could get the bearings and seals and send the assembly for balancing? Only place I've tried is Ted's Diesel Service(in Nampa), which rebuilds turbos, but only for diesels, and they told me they wouldn't be able to get the right stuff to do it... And that they didn't balance them... I would be willing to ship the turbos, and do all the simple work myself. (like taking the housings off...) Thanks everybody!

There's a place on Cole Rd. right across from Costco that does turbo rebuilds and fuel injection stuff (had some injectors serviced/balanced there, great work, good prices, and super quick turnaround). I don't remember the name of the place but it's on the East side of Cole Rd.

Cool, thanks for the fast reply DK, and any idea on price to rebuild a turbo? I am pretty sure I know the place you are talking, but I can't remember the name of it either...

Oh ok cool, cuz I went by RevTech and they are out of business... And I guess they have been for a while now. Guy across the street told me to try Forced Performance, 'cuz that's who Jake Montgomery uses...' Hahaha... So I will definately hit up GSFI. Thanks Dave, DaveyG

Yeah, Revtech always sucked from what I heard. Lots of REALLY shady work. GSFI should be able to do it, and rebuilds are usually about $150 including parts and labor (the rebuild kits alone are about $100). What turbo is it that you're looking to rebuild?

Possibly my little Dodge LeBaron turbo. It's a small-ish Garrett T3, I also have a t25 that is shot, that I was considering getting rebuilt to sell... maybe...

Me and my friend lee can do it, but we can't balance, except for getting the balance nut to the same spot that it was originally haha

From what I hear, that's actually all that is usually needed... unless there was damage to either of the wheels, in which case the turbo is pretty fucked anyway.

Shit I could do that... Could u just get me the seals and bearings if I gave you the info on the turbos?
