I am looking to upgrade some parts on my fuel system. Is it feaseable to use a Q45 throttle body on a KA all motor with upgraded fuel pump and injectors?
Or are there any other after market throttle bodies out there for a KA? I AM NOT going ITBs so don't suggest it.
I have looked at BC cams and their price is about 400 bones cheaper than The new billet ColtCams.
Check out these sites maybe you can help me decide witch way to go!

have you considered ITBs?

Have you considered ITBs? ^^R-tards^^ I did find a TB pulley claiming 20% less rotational speed. It claims to increase throttle response!

seriously, if you want to make any power NA, you will want to go ITB's. why waste all the money porting the head, cams, etc and limit your engine with a single TB? it will also be less work most likely.

your not going to gain anything of doing a bigger TB on a KA.......
maybe a port and polish on the intake mani might help and get ride of the butterlies valve inside of it.. and delete all the EGR stuff....
but other then that KA's aren't really known for there NA power....

wait, since when are KA's know for any real power? i thought people usually did SR and RB swaps for any real power, and if that isn't enough they go to LS1 and such...

people just do SR's cause there cheap and easy but KA's can make mad power with boost.. check it out

If I even own another 240 it will have a VQ or LSX motor in it...

^So now that you are at UTI you are tha PREMIER ALL KNOWING FUCKMISER PERFORMANCE GURU! You have seen what is really out there and you get boners in class frequently! Unlike you I have built a few cars that actually run longer than 20 minutes not to mention they had more cubes and NA power than that 1.whatever Izusu lawnmower engine. You talk a big game and say I'll never do this build. I will take my time with it and not hurry it along and do it right the first time.
As for the ITBs is there a bolt on manifold for this setup or would I have to fab one? I have seen it done on some single cams but haven't seen any build threads. What type of fuel system would you use, an in tank Walbro, would you have to use something like Megasquirt as management?
Keep saying I won't ever do a sweet N/A KA, it is great motivation.

Whatever Dave i like the plug and play features of the Q45 TB. This will work pretty smooth with all the other mods, .020 overbore, forged pistons etc..., cams, injectors, fuel pump, ecu custom tune

My build cost tally is a cunt hair under 4G's right now and that of course excludes all the machine work. SPEED COST MONEY, HOW FAST DO YOU WANNA GO? Oh well THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT FOR DISPLACEMENT!!! LOL!
