stupid wold tags/ tag control

So i noticed in a thread and a few other threads the stupid repetitive wold comments. And frankly for me, in my thread, it is realllllyyyy reeeeaaaalllyyy annoying.

so i was wondering if people on there own threads could get tag control of some sort.

any thoughts?


and whoever is doing this: the more you do it the more worthless it gets. you aren't funny, you aren't smart, and you aren't helping anything. please go do something better and possibly constructive, like running blind into traffic.

The tags are funny. I had a LONG talk with Wold about this yesterday, in person, at my house. He doesn't even mind them as long as Heather is left out of them. Are tags childish? Yes. Immature? Yes. But at the same time that's what makes them funny, and he even told me he chuckles at them occasionally. Attacking someone personally is one thing, and may or may not be crossing the line, but attacking their family is BS, IMO.

But like I told him, just ignore them and they'll go away. Everyone, myself included, does that shit looking for a reaction. No reaction = no fun. Every thread like this just makes it funnier to post them. I haven't posted any new tags for a few days, but this makes me want to go do just that...

lol, i was actually expecting what you just said microsteve, about you wanting to tag more. this site works kinda funny like that.

and i just wanted to say, i don't want to kill tags, i like most of them, and i also tag here and there. but when they are spammed they are kinda annoying. I'm honestly surprised the tags im talking about haven't showed up here. (but saying that i'm sure they will be here pronto)

I'd have to agree with Steve, if you have beef with someone don't be a bitch and write about their wife in tags. Ya having fun is cool, but bringing family into it crosses the line.

I say leave tags, but who ever is over-running them with comments about wold....it's getting old to see them in EVERY thread.

an idea would be limiting the total tags in a thread to 5, and only 1 per member....

this is how it is done one some other site (like bigger sites, not itty bitty idaho sites)
