October 3rd Auto Cross

I was out taking pictures for a lot of the race. I tried to get everyone not in my run group. and as many people in my own as i could.

I'm a photo n00b so most of the pictures didn't turn out very well but here's some of the good ones:

I think you need to work on your color settings, and the clarity... but the actual shots look good!

Thanks. i found that most of the pictures looked too bright, because of the lower shutter speed and the almost white driving surface (I hated all the pictures i took of white cars) and i don't have any photo shop so this is just what i could do using windows photo viewer.
and what do you mean clarity? like they're out of focus?

Your white balance is off on all of them and none of them appear sharp at all. Sorry, but otherwise the pics look good. Try a slightly faster shutter speed next time, you will still get wheel blur but the cars will be sharp.

alright most of the time i was doing 1/80 shutter speed.

and as far as white balance goes, what exactly needs to be done with it?

yeah that was one of my favorites to. too bad it was towards the end of my shooting i would have like experimenting with that angle some more.
