Come one come all G208'ers!
This month we pay our honor to a man that is truly in touch with the import nation; Mr.BK Industries (formerly known as Brian Krah) . What can be said more about this amazing spectacle of a man that hasn't been said around the community already? He's had his helping hands on more projects and done some of the cleanest work of virtually any member across the broad landscape of Garage208. Between running a business, managing an amazing family, and getting down and dirty on every car and scooter project he can get his hands on; we wonder how he still has time to be such an astonishing patron of our lovely community and that's why he's be dubbed our September Feature Of The Month.
Big congrats to this month's feature...

** PS. Thanks to my wonderful wife and my little girl for putting up with me! **

Name: Brian Krah (pronounced "Kray")
Age: 36
Fave Restaurant: I wouldnt say I have a fave, but I love my sushi, Japanese Teppanyaki, and of course a good ol steak!
Fave Music: Many types of electronic/electronica music (love my BPM on XM, and going to listen to Spastik DJ!)
Something most people don't know: I was about an inch away from going to art school to be a comic book/graphic artist...haha and I used to be into Volkswagons (shush Chewy :)).
Turn ons: NSX's, S15's, fully built Japanese race cars, NA motors winding out over 10k, and drifting!
What got you into the car scene: I have always loved cars, even as a kid. I always had to have a car toy of some kind that I tried to mod like Hot wheels, models, slot cars, and radio controlled cars. I really started to think about modding real cars in high school looking at Mini Truckin, and Car audio magazines. I always liked the way in which they were always trying to be unique and different. This led me to start my own car audio store where I started to get into Japanese cars and bolt ons. This is where I did my first swap, a B18c1 in my 99 Civic Coupe in 2000, and it has soared out of control since.
About me: I love racing! I grew up racing motocross, R/C cars, and then Autox. Anyone that knows me, knows that there is a "BK" way of doing things. I strive for perfection in all I do when it comes to working on anything. I'll be the first to admit I dont know everything, but if I dont know the answer I will find the correct one. I have been working on getting my certifications in various areas. I am ASE and Honda certified, and I have recently taken tuning classes at EFI University to get the right knowledge to tuning, and I am very close to being a certified tuner...oh and honesty goes a long way with me.
Story about the car: I bought the LS400 in California a year and a half ago with every intention of going full out VIP with it. This was my 3rd LS400 and I absolutely love these cars. I was somewhat looking for a 98-00 black on black when I stumbled on this one at Newport Lexus. Long story short, they gave me a smokin deal and I was an owner. As soon as I could I went through the car with a fine toothed comb and made sure everything mechanically was where it should be. Once that was done I decided it needed to be lowered. Because of funds and not being able to decide on if I was going to go coilovers or air suspension, I installed some Tanabe springs. After countless hours trying to decide on wheels for that sweet VIP look and not getting anywhere, I decided on a set of imported used "Rays Victrix Pleasures". The centers were originally silver but they had seen better days. So I pulled them apart and had the centers powder-coated gloss black. The car is fast for weighing a few pounds less than a tank, and it rides like a dream. I am selling the car to fund a future track car cause racing is in my blood, but rest assured I will def be back to the "L" in the future to hopefully finish my VIP addiction!
