So i know for the wheel setup i want to run im going to have to run a stretched tire setup.
How do you figure how much stretch to run on what tire size and wheel with?
The wheel size is 17x9 +25, and the wheel will be poking or very close. And would need stretch to run as low as i want to go and wide as rim as it is.
I was thinking 215/40/17 but not sure. Any help on some guidance.
omg its drunk scott.

theres no certain answer. it has to do with how low your car is, and if your fenders are rolled/pulled. 215/40 should be fine. you could do 205's, but it might look a little goofy.

Here is how 215/40/17 fits on a 9 inch wheel.

And here is a 205/40/17 on a 9 inch wheel..

Put the rims on the car and lower the car on some 2x4s and see the angle your rime sits at then decide if the tire needs to be angled like 215 or 205 or if you need stretch at all to tuck it...

215/40 is the only tire anyone ever needs to run. unless you want traction or something.

Ya problem is army people here dont know shit about imports or at least modding them. See alot of donks, dubbed suv's and thats it. So a roller is kinda out of the question. But what about a baseball bat? Is that a semi safe way or better to rent a roller if i can find one.
omg its drunk scott.

bat works great and its waaay faster than a roller, but theres a very good chance you'll crack the paint on your fenders.

yea use a bat..... lets get real it's not the right way and if he is pokin a little he can't pull the fenders with a bat....
I am sure someone on that island has one... I have seen enough pics of VIP cars and what not that i am sure there is someone around there that has one

Dude, you can SO pull the fenders with a bat, use the bat as a lever and pry when it's rolled. Rollers are a bitch but they do a nice job.

rollers aren't a bitch... just take your time and it's way easy....

I've used a roller enough times to know that they're a bitch. Constant mounting the wheel, taking it off, mounting roller, etc. Again, they do a nice job BUT still a bitch.
Baseball bat pulls work fine, we did it to scotts car and it turned out fine

It made the paint crack but a roller will do that too, reguardless of whether or not you use a heat gun. If the paints shitty and old, it's GOING to crack and flake off

my fenders are fine. the paint cracked because i was getting impatient and it was late. just dont pull a mirko and your fenders will be ok.
