If you were in charge of designing a new M1, what would be in it?

Mine, would have a motor similar to this one:

I would want it to rev to 9k (if not higher).

The engine would be in the middle.

The body would be carbon fiber

The interior would be minimalist

The trans would be a manual.

It would basically put BMW right in the middle of the game.

I am excited for the M1, the original supercar to come back...

and I would want it to run not a v12, but a twin turbo inline 6 with a 3.5L Bore.

If the body is light enough like you say it will be awesome. The original M1 was Inline 6 N/A...
