Thanks everyone. And northendtrooper, bring your crank walker out to an autocross, and we'll see who's is faster. Also, it should be good for low 12's or high 11's if I throw slicks on it. It only weighs 1830 lbs right now, and if I take off the stock bumpers, it will be 90 pounds lighter.
293whp and 285wtq in a mid 1700# car is some serious speed.

I was joshing you man haha. I know what those things weigh my buddy used to own one. Ultimate sleeper. I plan on autocrossing this year. I have a list to do on my suspension and driveline.

I know you were just kidding, so was I with the crank walk joke.
Bring it out, DSM's can do pretty well if setup and driven well.

Yeah I know. Kyle Hickerson's White 95 Talon was out tearing shit up I hear. I have a little bit more mods than he does but driver skill is definitely on his side.

Yeah, driver skill is definitely a big thing in autocross.
And mk2duber, idah2o is pretty much dead. I don't think anyone has showed up there in months.

Unfortunately... Idaho needs some serious German organization
Did you go to the show in Tacoma?

Nope. Not really all that much into Dubs anymore. I love my Scirocco, don't get me wrong, but all I really care about anymore in cars is how well they do when prepped and raced.
Also, there just aren't that many people into german cars around here to really "organize" it. We gave it a hell of a go with idah2o for quite the number of years, but sadly, there just aren't very many VW enthusiasts around.
That being said... anyone want to buy a Scirocco?!?! :D
I keed, I keed. I'd never sell my baby.

idk if its a case of not enough ppl or just not enough ppl knowing. I showed up this month with two of my friends who just heard about it from me. I know several ppl that would come but most never knew about.

Thanks. Yeah, I used to work at Micron, and I would drive that way to/from work usually, so good chance you saw it.
It should look quite different by the beginning of autoX season though... so look out. :D
