the ratcheting dingle arm is interfering with the discombobulator. Loosen it up a bit to allow more flow.

Your Fuel Pump is bad. Pull it out and check it out. I bet you blew it up (figuratively)

Yeah. Essentially you are starving it to a point meaning a couple of things with the fuel system. Go buy a new inline filter and fuel pump and that should fix your problem. The fuel filter is one of the most over looked filter/sensor for issues.

Wait a minute, that doesnt make sense to me. Granted, Im not a DSM guy and not that great with driveability issues, but if the fuel pump is bad why would it rev fine over 4k rpm when it has a higher fuel demand?

I know its weird but My fuel pump took a dump on me and before 4krpms it would sputter like a sum bitch, then once I boosted I would get the necessary fuel somehow. Turns out though I had it clogged with cardboard and my pressure release valve was bad, aka bad fuel pump. So I swapped it out for a HP 255lph pump and never had that issue again.
