I know it's a long shot, but figured I'd try.
Last night I put together a computer for a customer of mine and I can't even get it to POST. I suspect the motherboard I received was DOA and am currently waiting for RMA approval to get it replaced.
What I don't know for certain is whether or not it was the motherboard, or the processor. I don't want to get the replacement motherboard only to find out I was wrong and keep my customer waiting. Getting it replaced if it is bad isn't the problem, time just isn't on my side.
The processor in question is an AMD Phenom II socket AM3.
I'd test it myself, but my newest machine is only AM2. Of course monetary compensation for time/trouble is on the table, and I'll be happy to bring it to you. I'd like to get this handled this weekend if at all possible.
