VIP Lounge.

This idea will be down the road of what Mirko and I talked about. But when we have enough members, we should incorporate a lounge for Mod, Admin, and Positive/Helpful members who can only access it by being nominated and voted in by the people who have access to it. Call it the VIP Lounge or Lounge 2.0. Another forum has this and I'm trying to be part of it. With some guidlines of like 6 month probation and about 250 post of positive/knowledgeable, then the member can have access to it. Something I think where it would be the G208 fight club. Don't talk about it, blah blah blah. Just another thing I think would keep the forum positive in a way.

might be interesting. the only problem i can see is people think there is favoritism based on who is "in" with the admins

And that is why I say it should be like Fight club. DO NOT TELL ANYONE About it. Be like a surprise about it. Kinda like becoming a Vampire, once you know about it, you can not tell anyone or you're dead.

NWstreetracing.com has a similar forum. its only for people who know people. thats where all the real info about races and other get togethers is posted

Thats not what I want here. I want something where anyone who has the knowledge and the passion of helping people should be accepted and only after being voted in. Example.
On IMS I have 6K Post but some are helpful and positive criticism vs Say Timmay who is negative with 14K posts. Who would you vote in? Just an example.

Naw... This sounds nerdy, but I've been a part of FlashFlashRevolution since Aug of '03 and it started in Nov of '02, so with all the time I've been around and help I've contirbuted and connections I have, I'm part of the 50 people on that site of 1.5 million members thats part of the invisible forum, simply named FFR...

And it works exactly like Fight Club, you do WHATEVER you want in there, and talk about WHATEVER you want, BUT, nobody is supposed to know about it, and the people that have figured out it exists, know NOTHING of what happens in it...

AND I LOVE IT.

I would be TOTALLY up for having something like that here... I 2nd the idea...

So if you guys want to do something like, if not just start it out as an Admin forum only accessible by admins, you could start it that way, yknow

The forum I come from, there are trolls and then there are guys who make dope stuff (http://i.pbase.com/g1/28/61428/2/97967962.f8xQTaP0.jpg) in their garages. People who know their stuff and tend to stick to business and get listened to. Those who are trolls are called out as such. I personally don't think the idea of a "VIP" area is good, unless it pertains to the style/image.

Wow. You guys have it allll wrong. Anyone can join the next up Lounge but you will have to have a certain amount of post and trial date. Doesn't have to be OG's only or anything like that.


And yes I have a complex about it.
