I am getting towards the final stages of my car and I will be needing some misc nuts and bolts
anyone know of a good place with a very wide selection of metric stuff... I want quality stuff not el-cheapo...
I know there was a place somewhere close to DT if I remember like boise nut and bolt but i forget where it is...

Tocoma Bolt n' Screw??? On Cole rd.
call ahead and tell them your dimensions of what you want. I got a Grade 10 Bolt for my suspension. Has yet to fail me.

do they have a selection you can pick through??? or do you have to call ahead or what????

They do not allow people to sift through the bolts as far as I know.

Fastenal is the name, just google that and Boise. You'll find it for sure.

Tacoma screw up by costco on cole rd is good - they tend to have more specialty and misc. stuff, but are expensive, and allot of what they have is behind the counter, so if you don't know the name of the type of setup you need, and the thread, diameter and length, they look at you like you're an idiot.
Industrial hardware in garden city is cheaper - shit half the time if you just need a few nuts and bolts they give them to you for free. Plus they have bins you can dig through, and there are more "down home" guys working there (not as snooty as some other places around).

The people that work their are awesome!!! and indeed if you just need a few nuts and bolts they just let u have them :D

Tacoma Screw is pretty damn good though, you can use their website to get the part numbers so the counter people don't screw it up (they do quite a bit esp. w/ metric)

D & B actually has a pretty good selection.
idaho industrial is the shit, excellent customer sevice, and the prices are bitchin (mostly free)
