car: 93 civic coupe
suspension: tein ha full coilovers
been messing with this since i got the suspension on the car and i havent been able to figure it out yet. rear right is all the way loose while the rear left is up more then 1/4 of the way just to have it leveled in the back. dampening is the same as are the springs..which are unchangeable. stupid tein! it also has a full tank of fuel if that could be making any difference.
anyone have any ideas? feel free to spit them out. and no, i wont/cant cut the springs. :)

Most of my Honda cars have been like this.
Right now on the wagon, the right rear perch is a half inch lower than the left side to keep it level in back and both fronts are at least an inch higher. I have no idea why, but I do know the car has been wrecked and I know a lot of the bushings are shot. I chalk it up to those two things.
Even in Hondas that I know have not been in a wreck and have all replacement ES bushings there is still a lot of varience between corners and left to right. Ive seen the same thing with just lowering springs too. Suspension is just wierd sometimes man.
Oh, and btw, got those wheels and love them! Thanks again for the heads up!
your setup is no good, I'll trade you a spare set of DA springs/shocks/coilovers for your stuff....

how are they height adjustable? do you thread up the lower mount attached to the car? or just adjust the collars down and droop the spring? they do come apart and you could buy shorter springs for them also.

not sure what your asking but they adjust like regular coilovers.

and i cant take the springs off. i tried swapping the rear to the front but the top of the bolt is grinded on both sides. when i tried it i used an air comp gun and it wouldnt do shit, beside getting it really hot. lol

Its wierd, I cant find that type of suspension setup from Tein. Is that version discontinued or evolve into another name?
Either way, with that design (ITR rear lca) its hard to find shit for. The regular fork style rear struts from Honda you can often redrill the mounting holes a bit higher and you can get different rear lca's that can help lower a little more, but Ive never seen anything like that for the itr style lca's. Not saying they dont make them, Ive just never seen any. And since your not willing to hack on them, your more than likley not going to get any lower. Unless....what if you made plates about 3-4" long and 2"wide that had 2 holes in each one. use the top hole to secure the place to the lca, and the lower hole for the bottom of the strut. put one on each side of the strut in the lca. It would be like redrilling the holes in the bottom of the fork style struts. Does that make any sence? Its hard for me to describe whats in my head sometimes.
And the bushings are probably playing to your needs. If you had good bushings, it would more than likley sit higher.
If you could get them apart, Id try and remove the helper spring, but sounds like that avenue is closed.

thats just how honda's are...all my hondas are never even...i adjust my coilovers by measuring fender to tire...not by the collars...
also remember that your opposite tire has an effect on the tire your trying to adjust....
so if your right rear side has to much gap...try raising the left front tire up....the weight transfer will lower your right rear.
