The clear coat on her car is peeling. She'd like it to stop, but doesn't know if it's possible....

First off: Is there a way to get this to stop happening?

What would be her best option?

how bad is it? if its a smaller spot, clear fingernail polish works great! it keeps the edges from peeling up and stops the spreading....if its a larger spot, like a roof or a hood...there isnt anything that i know of thats going to stop it...well short of sanding it down and respraying it...

Or cover it with carbonfiber looking vinyl. After a while it fades, starts cracking and looks like hardwood floors :)
