17s only look too small if they're not wide enough and low enough offsets, as we all know matt powers' s14 is on 17s. looks like you need to tie up your washer hose.

I like 18's if you have aero, but 17's seem like a decent fit to me. but i'm knew to wheel fitment so i just figured 18's would be too big without aero

haha that's a parts car that i picked up for $500. 8X,XXX on the car. Motor sounds purty. the plan is by a manual tranny and put in the motor when i do the tranny swap. then t04.

i don't care about adjusting the susp. until i get wheels. so it just sits like that. and since it has different sized tires in the rear the lsd makes crazy noises. so i don't drive it at all.

the closer you are to the ground, the more centered (and less top-heavy) you are. So that helps you from not tipping and decreases body roll.

it also decreases drag.

no to mention looking WAYYY aggressive. (not saying that mine does, because it doesn't. it looks horrible right now. dropping the front and getting better fitting wheels will help)

too low negatively affects your roll center, and in almost every case, going too low (below a certain point) will actually start to increase body roll and will make the car handle like shit.

But yes, it looks cool, and being super slammed will help with drifting, since you don't need it to hold traction, but rather break traction.

So here's the story. The only thing I received an e-mail for saying it had shipped was the wheels, so that is what I was expecting today. I go home at lunch and everything is there minus my lug nuts and my Willwood braided brake lines.

Parts list:
MB Battles - 18x9.5 +15
Falken 512 - 225 / 40 / 18
Brembo cross-slotted and drilled rotors
Ichiba 5 lug hubs
Circuit Sports e-brake knob

Waiting on lug nuts and brake lines.

Only problem is, I got s13 front hubs. I'm not sure if I placed the order wrong (probably, I was in a rush) or if they got the order wrong, but hopefully they'll swap them for me. So right now I have decently flush 18's in the rear and sunken to crap 15's in the front.

Nice car, I love the stance and wheels x100, but every pic of the driver's side and my eyes automatically divert to one thing... and you know exactly what I is talking about... want help popping that? I has a suction cup and a couple dollies and a few hammers if the suction cup don't work... If u r lucky we could pop it with just a blow drier and my suction cup without doing anything at all to the paint.

If anybody has s13 springs and struts that I can borrow tomorrow or buy for cheap that would be awesome.

It doesn't have any. We had to push it with a tractor to get it up the ramps and onto the flatbed. So, we kind of need suspension to get it off the flatbed tomorrow.

If need be, I can borrow them tomorrow to get it off the trailer, then put it on jacks and give you your springs/struts back.

False. I (by noob mistake) bought an SR20DE-T. Meaning, it is an SR20DE from a 180sx Q's that is in process of turbo. I say in the process because the guy before me didn't finish the swap/turbo conversion and never ran the motor. I'm kind of excited though, they have better cams and it will be a rare swap. It's been done, but I've heard of maybe 5 in the states as opposed to the 32098473092842370984 sr20det swaps.

so as i'm leaving work for lunch today I get a call from a police officer. Last night at 3a.m., two guys broke into my s13 and got caught jacking all of my gauges (boost, a/f, oil press, oil temp, and two others).

It's crazy that there was an officer out there at 3a.m. and I have no idea how he even saw them. Luckily the gauges are the least of my concern. If the case goes to court, I won't be seeing them for 6 months minimum. He said it could take up to 2 years.

So save up for new rings, bearings, and a full gasket kit and that should be enough to get it running. I'll start cleaning up the cams soon to see if they're damaged at all.
