Well tomorrow I would like to drive, but my car is not done and I would like to co-drive with someone if at all possible...
I also would like someone to explain the rules of co-driving for me and how everything goes about the fees and classes etc... I would run N if I was to run tomorrow so it wouldn't matter what the car is...

You can't run N if the car has certain tires (I think it has to have street-legal tires, but it might disallow R-Compounds, as well). You could always sign up for the IMS class if you intend to run that for the year if there's an issue with running Novice. The only requirement for IMS is the car has to be street legal.
Fees: $35 for the day for non-members. You'll get 6-8 runs, each approximately 40-60 seconds. Along with the fees for a non-member, you get a discount on your annual membership if you choose to buy one, plus you're covered by some absolutely top-notch health insurance if anything bad does happen (nothing has happened for... 5 or 6 years I think I heard?)
For codriven cars, there is a separate line that runs twice as often as one-driver cars, with each driver swapping runs through the run group (person A, then person B, then person A, etc).
